Cordell JH competed at the Kingfisher MS/JH tournament this last Friday and Saturday. Tyson Dickerson placed 1st in the middle school 92 weight class. Tyson pinned his first two opponents and tech falled his next two opponents. Cooper Chagollia placed 1st in the middle school 119 weight class. Cooper pinned all four of his opponents in a total of 2 minutes and 53 seconds. Joe Ivy placed in the Jr High 190 weight class. Ivy won his two matches by pin before his matchup with two tough opponents on Saturday, but was able to turn things around by receiving a major decision in his placement match. Overall, the Cordell wrestlers ended the weekend with 98 team points.
