Candidate filing is complete for the Washita County Board of Education elections, and no Primary Election is necessary as no more than two candidates filed for any office. The General Election will be held in April 2026.
Andy Davis, who is currently serving an appointed term for Cordell Schools’ Seat 1, filed unopposed. Ray Challis also filed unopposed for Western Technology Center’s Seat 1. They will retain their positions with no vote necessary.
Candidates who will be on the ballot for the General Election will be Jimmy F. Piercey and Charles Roles for Burns Flat-Dill City Schools’ Seat 1, Darrell L. Price and Carrie Shelton for Canute Public Schools’ Seat 1, Amy Sanders and Riley Ridling for Sentinel Public Schools’ Seat 4, and Beau Moles and Aaron Spinhirne for Sentinel Public Schools’ Seat 4.
Voters who are registered and reside at an address within the geographical boundaries of the Washita County School District are eligible to vote in the Board of Education General Election.
