It was a very busy week for the Burns Flat-Dill City Sr. 4-H club. Washita county held Duds to Dazzle at the county extension center in Cordell. Two members from our club, Abby and Kathryn Sirmon and our club leader Larissa Mason, were in attendance.

The Cordell City Council will meet on Monday July 17th at 6:00 p.m. Keep up on what is happening in Cordell and show our Council that we believe in their decisions by attending Council meetings! Vacation Bible School will be held at the First Baptist Church from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

There is going to be a wonderful fireworks show at the airport on the evening of the 1st of July sponsored by the City and the Cordell Fire Department. Last year was great so I am sure this year will be too! Everyone is invited.

The Burns Flat-Dill City Senior 4-H Club has had an eventful summer so far. Cupcake Wars were held Tuesday, May 23 in Cordell. Our Club had 6 participants in the Intermediate Division and 6 in the Senior Division. Everyone had creative cupcake designs.

There will be a blood drive in the Family Life Center at the First Baptist Church on Thursday June 22 from noon until 5:30. If you are able, help save a life by giving blood. The pool is open and the water is beautiful. Enjoy it while you can.
