The annual Washita County 4-H Awards was held Monday evening August 14, 2023 .
Burns Flat-Dill City Sr. 4-H was well represented.
Larissa Mason was honored as Lifetime Volunteer of the Year.
Kathryn Sirmon received awards for Champion Senior Photo, Champion Senior for Impressive Dress, Outstanding Record Book and is the 2023-2024 Secretary.
Evie Denny was Champion Illustrated/ Demonstration Speech and Champion Fair Exhibitor.
Abby Sirmon was honored as Champion Intermediate Food Demonstration, Champion Intermediate Photo, Outstanding Record Book and is the 2023-2024 Recreation Leader.
Braxton Barnett was Champion Design & Construction and chosen as Photographer for the 2023-20244 Officer Team.
Brance Barnett was honored as Champion Apparel Design & Construction, Champion Senior Poster, Champion Design & Construction-Other Category, Champion Senior PowerPoint, Champion Senior, Cupcake Wars, T-shirt Design Winner and was inducted into the Washita County 4-H Hall of Fame.
Brance is the 2023024 President for the Teen Leaders.
Others from Washita County serving as Teen Leader Officers are Corbin Gossen as Vice President and Bentlee Lester as Reporter.
