The Washita County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee and Washita County Board held a meeting August 11, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the County office in Cordell. The meeting started with a prayer and a meal of pizza served by Farm Bureau.Jordan Cook called the Women’s Meeting to order at 6:45.

“Love your neighbor as yourself”I expect you recognize this commandment as being from the Bible. Whether you are a Jew or a Christian you recognize this verse as important. Jesus quoted this verse several times and classified it as one of the two greatest commandments. Paul and James also quoted it.
