Oct. 5 was the second out of four festivals for the travelling rec teams. They played in Clinton. The U8 girls Wildcats won two more games, making them 4-0. The U8 boys Predators walked away with a win and a loss, making their season record 2-2. The U10 girls Tigers, lost their first game and rallied for a win on their second game, giving them a record of 3-1. The U12 girls Lucky Charms had another tough week and tied their first game and lost their second game. Their season record is 0-3-1. Finally, the U10/U12 boys Cyclones had three games this weekend, making for a long day. They went out and played hard against many teams much older than they are. Their season record is 0-5.

The next festival will take place in Clinton at Acme Park on Oct. 12. All Cordell games will start after 2:00 p.m. so the kids can participate in the Soccer Club’s parade float and booth. If you are attending the Pumpkin Festival, stop by and meet some of these amazing children!
