High school basketball in Cordell hit an unexpected snag as the Cordell Blue Devils eagerly prepared for a showdown against Canute High School on Monday, December 11. However, the highly anticipated game was derailed by a shortage of referees, resulting in its rescheduling to a date beyond the Christmas break. Birdie Brown and Calliy Walker both scored 7 points, Peyton Garrison scored 4, McKinsey Gray and Allee Brock both scored 3, Rylee Chagollia and Sadie Webb both scored 2, and Kyndal Norris scored 1.
