Cross Country Competes At Hobart Meet

The Cordell Cross Country teams traveled to nearby Hobart to compete in their last meet of the season before regionals.

Kobi Cameron picked up the team’s only medal, placing 17th among the high school girls. Brady Reimer finished in 28th in the high school boys’ division.

Cordell also fielded six junior high girls. Brooklyn Burkeen finished 37th, Kyndal Norris in 38th, Peyton Watson finished 43rd, Addison Rich came in 49th, Elizabeth McGuire placed 50th, and Kylee Snuggs came in 51st.

The team travels to Waurika Saturday, Oct. 19, for the regional meet. The top seven teams and the top seven individuals who are not part of one of the top seven teams will qualify for the state meet in Shawnee on Oct. 26.
