It’s Homecoming Week in Cordell. Students and alumni both are preparing for the week’s festivities, culminating in the Homecoming football game against the Eagles of Sayre.

The various groups are building their floats this week in preparation for judging at 12:30 p.m. Friday. The float-builders’ work will be on display for everyone when the parade begins at 1:00 p.m. The parade will end in the square, where the winners will be announced and a pep assembly will be held.

The band boosters’ spaghetti supper takes place in the junior high/ high school cafeteria from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., followed by the 7:00 p.m. kick-off.
