The junior high girls played exceptionally well in their second basketball game of the week versus Hobart. Lots of people showed up to support them, and they were met with the highest success. Everyone was anticipating and on the edge of their seats. There are tons more wins to go.

The seventh grade performed remarkably well, Mylee Brunker(#?) and Mckinley Moore(#4) each earned six points. Emma Holman (#35) and Rylee Larsen(#22) each had 4 points. Rylee Kelly (#3) scored one points. They won 27 to 7. McKinley Moore(#4) really stepped up and scored six points in the first quarter to get things going. Everyone was able to enter and enjoy the game as the score increased! Whether they participated in the game or not, they were still important to the team since they supported and encouraged each other. Your teammates, family, and friends are the ideal people you would want rooting for you, and especially your coaches telling you good job.

The 8th/9th grade game was really intense. They were neck to neck the entire game, so it was really exciting.

Calliy Walker(#30) had 18 points, Diane Palmerton (#11) with 8 points, Emma Holman (#35) and Mackinlee Brunker (#20) scored 6 apiece. Calliy Walker (#30) executed the offense good, handled the ball expertly, and made some long shots. She made two 3-pointers off of transition plays in the final quarter, making it 36 to 37.

As Cordell attempts an out-of-bounds play with just 1.7 seconds remaining, Mackinlee Brunker(#20 gets it, shoots, and scores! The Cordell Blue Devils won as a result of that. On the court, everyone get giddy with excitement. They had such a great game there! Victory is 38 to 37. Everyone seemed satisfied with the outcome of the game, and they played tough defense, had quite a number of rebounds, and gave it thier all.

Coach Love feel they all played had and is proud of Mackinlee Brunker (#20) for making the game-winning shot. He believes they have much more potential that they will realize throughtout the season. He is also happy the eighth and ninth graders learned how to push themselves to the limit and play a game that is neck to neck. Go Blue Devils!
