GIRLS BASKETBALL

The Lady Blue Devils went 0-3 last week, unable to bring home a single win.

After a week of being pressed hard by some of the top teams in the district, Head Coach Jana Rogers believes her team will be stronger and develop better endurance.

“While we may not have won any games, the girls have definitely gotten in better shape this week,” said Rogers.

Rogers is especially proud of the girls’ performance against Okarche on Tuesday.

“It had been maybe a month since we last played, and they played amazing. Okarche is normally a team that makes it to state, and we played right with them for three quarters,” said Rogers.
