In Memory of Jerry Mooney

To meet Jerry was to love him. He was soft spoken, kindhearted and unassuming. Most importantly, to me, he was my friend. Not in that casual way that our world has grown accustomed to; a friendly “hello” in passing, no Jerry was my true friend, a brother-in-Christ, a confidant.

Our beloved father Forrest Allen Dickerson entered into God’s Kingdom on February 26, 2022, after battling Parkinson’s and the effects of a devastating fall. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday, March 4, 2022, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel.

Wilma Ruth McCarley

Wilma Ruth McCarley died peacefully in Silver Spring Maryland on March 4th at the age of 83. Wilma is survived by her brother, Leon Gregg (Maurine), Gordon Gregg (Donna) and nephews Darryn, Gordy and Paul. She is preceded in death by her mother, Gempsie Gregg and father, C.G. (Bill) Gregg.

John “Perrie” Husband was born September 28, 1938 to Arthur Woodrow Husband and Edith Viola (Bradford) Husband in Cordell, OK. He passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022 with family by his side. He grew up in Cordell graduating from Cordell High School in 1956.

Graveside service for Wanda Avant, 88 year old Cordell resident, will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 at 3:30 P.M. at Union Hatchett Cemetery with Chuck Horton officiating. Services are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Debra Lynn Clark

Debra Lynn Clark, 65, of Mountain View, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022 with her children by her side. She was born on August 3, 1956 to Harry Kern Jr. and Winifred (McCarson) Kern in San Antonio, Texas. She was a happy spirit and never met a stranger.

Vena Faye Werhan Teel was born on September 14, 1931 to Willis Leonzo Werhan and Edith Mae Berrie Werhan in Dill City, Oklahoma. She grew up in Dill City and helped on the family farm, even partnering with her Daddy in farming before she married.

Rebecca Renee Ramsey

Rebecca Renee Ramsey was born December 10th, 1971 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Jimmie Lea (Elmore) and Ronnie Glen Ramsey. She passed away on Friday, February 11th, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 50 years, 2 months and 1 day.

Patricia Fern Duffield

Patricia Fern Duffield, age 69 passed away suddenly on February 3, 2022. She was born April 26, 1952 in Sentinel, OK to John William Bellah and Joyce LaVerne Campbell. She and KC bought their home in Chester, OK where Patricia loved to watch and play with her beloved dog Suzie.
