Shirley Ann George

Shirley Ann George, 86, of Sentinel, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 21st, 2021.

She was born on February 11th, 1935 to D.A. and Ferne (Groff) Skaggs in Welty, Oklahoma. Shirley met and married Roy E. George on May 2, 1952 in Lawton, Oklahoma, to this union were born four children: Barbara, Rodney, Greg and Melanie. She was an avid gardener.

She shared her flowers with anyone that wanted them. She also loved birds and could identify all species. She loved a good game of Wahoo and was very competitive. She worked on family genealogy for many years. Talking on the phone for hours with family and friends was one of her biggest joys. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
