Preston Wayne Moore, best known as Wayne passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Cordell Christian Home in Cordell, Oklahoma. He was born on April 6th, 1952 to Rex & Thelma La-Vern (Sallee) Moore in Amarillo, Texas.

Wayne was a 1970 high school graduate at Cabrillo High School in Lompoc, California as his parents relocated with the Air Force in the late 1960’s.

He attended college at Grossmont College in El Cajon, California and received his Associates Degree to work as a Cardiovascular Technician. Eventually, this led to working in the healthcare related sales field in the Los Angeles area of California.

Wayne was married to the mother of his two daughters in February of 1981 in Los Angeles, California.

Always a “people person” and well liked by everybody who knew him. A fun loving guy who got along with everyone and could really make you laugh.

A lover of music, especially rock and roll. A human juke box of sorts, he loved to write songs and play all of his favorites on either an electric or acoustic guitar.

Wayne’s hobbies were playing guitar, fishing, and playing tennis, all of which he taught his daughters how to as well.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
