Ronald Gale Luper passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at his home in Alfalfa. Ronnie was born April 22, 1943, to Byron and Irene Welch Luper in Carnegie.

Ronnie attended Alfalfa Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1961. .

Ronnie married Shirley Byrom on Nov. 11, 1961, in Binger. To this union was born two children, Sheri Renee and Rannie Gale.

Ronnie was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Alfalfa. He was a farmer/rancher all of his life.

Ronnie’s family are Oklahoma farmers and ranchers from way back. His great-grandpa Hackleman rode his horse from Texas to participate in the Oklahoma Cheyenne Arapaho Land Run in 1892. Ronnie’s family still own this land and acquired more since then.

Ronnie left behind many cherished memories within his family and community. He loved his family and friends big. He was always ready and willing to help others anyway he could. He was known to brighten the likes of many with his infectious smile; sense of humor and mischievious streak. The latter may have angered some at the time but have become treasured memories now.

Those he left behind are broken hearted but take great comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering and will be rejoicing in heaven with loved ones. We look forward to reuniting and rejoicing with him some day.
