Nikki Luper Alexander Craig died January 3, 2021. She put her family first and was a loyal friend. She was born June 22, 1943, the second of four daughters of Willa Belle Carson and Ernest Homer “E.H.” Luper in Wichita, KS.

In high school she was football queen, drum major, a member of honor society and had the lead in a play.

At Girls’ State in 1960, she was the sooner party candidate for governor and mayor of her city. Nikki graduated from Wayne High School in 1961. At Oklahoma City University, she majored in business and was elected queen of the freshman class. A member of Alpha Chi Omega, she served as social chairman and province rush chairman as an alumna.

She met Donald Lynn Alexander at Oklahoma City University and they married June 23, 1963. They moved to Cordell after graduation from OCU in 1965.

Their son, Kerry, was born in 1964 and daughter, Kristin Rae, was born in 1974.

They bought a car dealership in 1965 and grew it over two decades to become one of the largest in southwest Oklahoma prior to Don’s death from a heart attack in March 1984. Nikki moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma in the late 1980s.

On July 17, 1999, Nikki married Aubrey Dale Craig, who had been her high school sweetheart, and moved to Plano.

Her grandsons Calvin and Nicholas, who were preschoolers, walked her down the aisle. Nikki was an active member and volunteer in the Methodist church in Cordell, Weatherford and Plano. She was a life-long member of P.E.O., Golden Girl (50 year member) and held many offices including president of each chapter and representative to state and international conventions. She enjoyed the Rejebian Book Club and many Bible study fellowships.

She and Aubrey enjoyed traveling to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Vietnam, Cambodia, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Japan, Turkey, Canada, Belize, Honduras, several resorts in Mexico and Caribbean Islands. With her first husband, Don, she traveled to England, Ireland, Italy, France, Switzerland, Scotland, and the Netherlands.

She is survived by her husband Aubrey Dale Craig, son Kerry Don Alexander and his wife Carol, daughter Kristin Rae Alexander, stepson Aubrey “Ace” Craig, grandchildren Calvin Alexander, Nicholas Alexander, Jackson Craig Alexander, Luke Alexander and Haylee Craig, sisters Karen Lawson and Judy Rork, nieces Kimberly Bielski and Sherry Cagle and nephews Todd Johns and Randy Cofer. Nikki was preceded in death by her first husband Don Alexander, parents and sister Donna Kay Bielski.

Funeral services will be held at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road in Plano on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Lawnview Cemetery in Cordell, Oklahoma.
