Lucille June Colhouer, 62, of Cordell, passed away unexpectedly at home on Dec. 23, 2019. She was born on Nov. 26, 1957, to Edward Eugene and Genevieve (Bodley) Miller in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Lucille grew up and attended school in Ohio. She worked as an CNA for Devin Gables Assisted Living in Tucson, Ariz., then moved to Cordell, and worked at the Cordell Christian Home. Lucille worked as an CNA for 22 years. She had spent the last 10 years working as a security guard for Bar S Foods in Elk City.

Lucille met the love of her life while living in Cordell, John Colhouer, and they married in September of 2016.

Lucille was a kind and loving person, to most she was known as NawNaw or grandma. She treated everyone as if they were her family. Lucille will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved her, especially her two loving daughters Tonya and Jody.

Survivors include her husband John Colhouer of the home; daughters: Tonya L. Cook and husband Thomas Mc-Farland of Cordell and Jody Agee and husband Troy Jamison of Cordell; grandchildren Anita Colston, A.J. Alcantar, Marcus Alcantar, Nathan Agee, Javon Ali, and Karissa Ali; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Deborah Bryan of Cordell; brothers Richard Miller of Cordell, and Edward Miller, Jr. and wife Mary Jo of Tucson, Ariz.; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward Eugene and Genevieve (Bodley) Miller.

Visitation was held from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Cordell.
