Jackie “Jack” Bellah, 79, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 21, 2024.

He was born on August 8, 1944, to Roy Eugene and Mrytle B (Harris) Bellah in Cordell, Oklahoma.

Jackie grew up and attended school in Cloud Chief and graduated from Cordell High School in 1962.

After high school Jackie enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard.

Throughout his career, Jackie worked on the farm and was no stranger to hard work.

He dedicated his working years to hauling cattle and wheat.

Jackie enjoyed attending church at the Northside Church of Christ.

He loved camping, spending time at his lake house and taking trips to Branson.

Jackie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife: Linda Bellah of the home; Sisters: Dorothy Jean Wortham, Cordell, OK and Debbie Kern, Cordell, OK; Brother: Donnie Merkey, Adel, IA; and Janie’s Children and Grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his Mother, Stepmother, Father, Step-father, Wife: Janie Bellah, and Sister: Delores.
