Herman Dee Foust, age 86, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 9, 2026.
Born on March 22, 1940, in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, to Cecil and Rena (Gillis) Foust, Herman moved with his family to Rocky, Oklahoma, in 1951. He attended school in Rocky and, on May 6, 1957, married the love of his life, Barbara Humphrey. They shared 55 wonderful years together until her passing in 2013.
A man of many talents, Herman was widely regarded as a master builder with exceptional skill in the home construction industry.
Later in life, he answered a higher calling and was ordained to preach. He served faithfully as a pastor at the First Baptist Church of Canute and the Salem Baptist Church in Rocky.
He spent several years selling cars for Gene Smith Chevrolet in Elk City, OK.
He also served his community through his work with Washita County.
