Frederick Alfred Schneberger was born in Elk City, Oklahoma on June 27, 1933 to Albert and Otilla Schneberger.

Fred grew up on a family farm west of Burns Flat. In the fall of 1948 while pulling cotton bolls he met Zola Casey. In January of 1952 they were married and moved to a farm west of Burns Flat where he lived until he passed away at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 9 days. He enjoyed visiting with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, A.J. and Donald Ray Schneberger and one sister, Della Rogers.

Fred is survived by his wife, Zola, of the home; 5 children, Frederick Schneberger and wife, Leisha, Burns Flat, OK, Johnny Schneberger, Yukon, OK, Shirley Richardson and husband, Robby, Alamogordo, New Mexico, Paul Schneberger and wife, Kelley, Yukon, OK and Marketa Black and husband, Jerry, Dill City, OK; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Cecilia “Tiny” Schneberger and Wynona Kepley and a host of other relatives and friends.

Prayer vigil services were held Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 6:30 P.M. at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial services was held Monday, November 9, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Matthew Catholic Church officiated by Father Philip Louis. Burial was immediately following at St. Francis Cemetery under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West.
