Dave Elton Christian, 66, of Dill City, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Oct. 23, 2019, in Clinton. He was born on Feb. 17, 1953, to Elton Leroy and Della Jo (Green) Christian in Sentinel.

Dave grew up and attended school in Dill City graduating from Dill City High School in 1971. After high school he joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War and served his country honorably. After being discharged he worked as a glazier, installing glass for all types of businesses. Dave was known for his creativity in woodworking and his sense of humor. He loved to go fishing and hunting whenever he had time, but most of all he loved grilling, he was called the “Master Griller.” Dave will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially Judy and his children.

Survivors include his wife Judy of the home; children Tonya Stafford of Blanchard, Colt Christian of Norman, Catee Ngomo and husband Leo of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren Levi Stafford, Larissa Stafford, Leo Ngomo, and Aliyah Ngomo; great-grandchild Landon Stafford; much loved step children and grandchildren; sister Charlotte Stehr and husband Norman of Clinton; brother Steve Christian and wife Linda of Dill City; numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Della Jo Christian.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Dill City, with interment at Sentinel Cemetery in Sentinel.

Visitation was held from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, and from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, with family welcoming guests from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home in Cordell.
