Danny Ross Ogle

Danny Ross Ogle was born March 30, 1948 in Eugene, Oregon and passed from this life October 29, 2023 in Shattuck, Oklahoma.

He grew up in Cordell, Oklahoma. As a teenager he loved participating in rodeos where he was both a bareback rider and a bull rider.

In 1967, Danny enlisted into the United States Navy, serving in the Vietnam War. During his service, he received training in Nuclear Weapons Transhipment Procedures. He was honorably discharged in 1970, having attained the rank of GMG3. He returned to Cordell after his service.

In 1986, Danny moved to Gage, Oklahoma, where he met Donna (Dale) Starbuck. On December 8, 1987, he and Donna were united in marriage in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Following their marriage, they resided in Shattuck, Oklahoma.

Danny worked in law enforcement, and he owned his own trucking company.

In his spare time, Danny enjoyed camping and fishing.

Danny is preceded in death by his mother, Leota (Mc-Laughlin) Richey; stepfather, Owen Ogle; beloved stepfather, Tom Richey; brother, Owen “Salty” Ogle; brother, Smokey Ogle; sister, Eileen Smith; sister, Barbara Pendleton; sister, Linda Curry; sister-in-law, Judy Lalicker; brother-inlaw, Wayne Boudreau; brother-in-law, Curtis Hatterman; brother- in-law, Larry Lalicker; fur-baby, Peanut; and many other relatives and friends.

Danny is survived by his beloved wife, Donna of the home; sister, Peggy Patterson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Patsy Montgomery of Dalaphan, Missouri; sister-in-law, Judy Ogle of Cordell, Oklahoma; stepson, Lonnie Starbuck and wife Diedra of Shattuck, Oklahoma; stepson Tim Starbuck and wife Krista of Alva, Oklahoma; grandson Matt Starbuck and wife Amy of Edmond, Oklahoma, and their children Aaron and Asher; granddaughter, Kala Mead and husband Marcus of Alva, and their daughter Tindler; grandson, Grayson Starbuck and wife Crystal of Piedmont, Oklahoma, and their children Gatlin and Gridley; grandson, Brent Starbuck and fiancée Chandler Loomis of Salina, Kansas; sister-in-law, Joanne Boudreau of Shattuck; sister-in-law, Debbie Hatterman of Shattuck; sister-in-law, Billie Trosper and husband Doug of Shattuck; sister- in-law, Sandy Clark and husband Lloyd of Shattuck; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loved ones and friends.
