Carla Sue Hasty Wolfe, 56, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, at the Cordell Christian Home in Cordell, Oklahoma.
She was born on September 28, 1970, to Clark and Carol (Ketchum) Hasty in Farmington, Missouri. Carla grew up and attended school in Bonne Terre, Missouri, and she attended nursing school for a while.
Carla had 3 children: Robert, Darin Jr. and Jesse. She loved writing poems and children’s gospel songs.
Carla was a people person, enjoying visiting with every person she came in contact with.
She married Shawn Wolfe on August 5, 2021, and they made their home in Custer City.
Carla moved to Cordell, Oklahoma a couple months ago, and she enjoyed being closer to her family.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her Husband: Shawn Wolfe of the home; her sons, Robert Burggraaf, Bonne Terre, MO and Darin Burggraaf Jr., Bonne Terre, MO; her granddaughter, Kelsey Burggraaf, Bonne Terre, MO; her mother, Carol Thompson; her brother, Jeff Hasty & wife Lisa, Saint Mary, MO; her sisters, Kathy Cornett, Cordell, OK, Margie Hasty, Cordell, OK, and Patty Hasty, Cordell, OK. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members.
Preceded in death by her father, Clark Hasty, her son, Jesse Burggraaf, and sister, Judy Toler.
