Stephen Douglas Rozell

Steven Douglas Rozell, 56, of Sentinel, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on August 29th, 2021 at Great Plains Regional Hospital in Elk City, Oklahoma. He grew up and attended school in Sentinel and graduated from Sentinel High School. After high school Steven worked as a Meat Butcher and then worked at the Dog Food Plant. He also worked for the Sayre Correctional Facility and for the last six years he worked as a Jailer for the Washita County Sheriff’s Office. Steven enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved being with his family and friends. Steven will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

Survivors include: Mother, Kathy Rozell of Sentinel, OK; Brothers, Kevin Rozell & wife Jennifer of Sentinel, OK; Trevor Watson & wife Denise of Childress, TX.

Preceded in death by Father, Roy Rozell; Grandparents: Harrison & Nettie Cole, Charlie & Faye Rozell, and Viola & Andy Sheeren; Brother: Robbie Rozell; Sister-in-law: Kristi Rozell and Niece: Afton Rozell.

Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Sentinel, OK. Interment: Sentinel Cemetery, Sentinel, Oklahoma

Visitation: 9:00 a.m.~8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2021, Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Sentinel, OK
