Ian Tyrel Griffith

Ian Tyrel Griffith died unexpectedly August 11, 2021 at age 11. He was an artist, an adventurer, a survivalist, an astute political commentator, a dog-whisperer, and a stand-up comedian with a sincere belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his parents, Preston and Chantel Griffith of Yale, Oklahoma, his little brother, Declan, and his older brother, Kevin, of Rocky, OK, as well as his paternal grandparents, Keith and Diana Griffith of Rocky, his Uncle Jesse Griffith and Aunt Sheri, cousins Riley and Asia’h of Hobart and his Uncle Tucker and Aunt Tabitha Griffith and cousins Kendra, Chance, and Ryker of Rocky. He is also survived by his Great-uncle and Aunt Jim and Trish Hansen and cousins Jamie and Tessa of Rocky, greataunt Lisa Griffith of Hobart and maternal grandparents, Jess and Mary Gillis of Centerville, MO, as well as tons of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Earnest and Lois Griffith of Rocky.

Services were held August 16, at the Church of the Firstborn, Parkland, OK. He awaits the resurrection to eternal life at the Parkland Cemetery.
