Roy “Rodney” George age 65 of Foss, Oklahoma passed away peacefully in his home on July 13, 2021.

Rodney was born to Roy and Shirley (Skaggs) George on March 12, 1956 in Hobart, Oklahoma.

Rodney met and then married Donna Waters on December 2, 1985 in Vernon, Texas.

Of this marriage he gained Jennifer, Amanda, Tiffany and Jacob as his children.

Rodney worked for many years as a truck driver in the oilfield and was later promoted to supervisor.

Rodney truly loved fishing and had done so since he was a young boy with his parents and siblings and passed that love of fishing on to his grandchildren. Rodney was in his happy place when he was on the lake tubing and camping with his family and friends.

Rodney was a master smoker and enjoyed smoking meat and sharing it with his family at cookouts.

Survivors include:-Donna George, wife; Khierra Beal and Weston Beal, grandchildren, all of the home.

Children:Jennifer Fuller and husband Brandon of Cordell, Oklahoma, Amanda Hemrich and husband Anthony of Clay City, Illinois, Tiffany Gregg and husband Corey of Burns Flat, Oklahoma, Jacob Beal and wife Michelle of Foss, Oklahoma.

Grandchildren:Kylie Fuller and Jaxon Fuller of Cordell, Oklahoma, Emily Pate and Abby Pate of Clay City, Illinois, Karli Gregg of Burns Flat, Oklahoma, Hunter Beal of Foss, Oklahoma.

Sister: Barbara Cooper of Sentinel, Oklahoma.

Brother: Greg George of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.

Sister-in-law: Georgianna Diener and husband Dave Lampe of Carthage, Missouri

Sister-in-law Janet Lewis and husband Curt of Flora, Illinois

Brother-in-law Rusty Waters and wife Cindy of Flora, Illinois

Brother-in-law Kyle Wheeler and wife Cathy of Flora, Illinois

Sister-in-law Kelli Wilbur and husband Jeremy of Xenia, Illinois

Rodney has 7 nieces, 10 nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by his parents Roy and Shirley George, his sister Melanie George, niece Shyla Cooper, sister-in-law Carol George and brother-in-law Bobby Cooper.

Services will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Burns Flat, Oklahoma.
