The Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) will conduct a blood drive at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford on Monday and Tuesday, April 5-6, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The “Rise Up & Give” blood drive will be held at the SWOSU Wellness Center. All donors will choose one of three different color t-shirts and receive a free ticket to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
OBI Account Consultant Melissa Santoro said appointments are encour aged to help with flow and social distancing by calling 1.877.340.8777 or visiting obi.org.
All donations by donors ages 18 and over will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies to identify potential convalescent plasma donors. If a donor has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and recovered, that donor could be eligible to donate. Email coviddonor@obi.org to make a plasma appointment.
