4-H members from Burns Flat-Dill City, Canute, Cordell and Sentinel entered 74 poster and photo projects in the annual contest. The Washita County Farm Bureau Women sponsor this event giving each entry $2.

Participants in the poster contest not only utilize their skills in creativity & decision making, but they also get to showcase their 4-H project and promote 4-H in an artistic way. There were 49 posters entered this year.

The results are as follows:

■ 4-H Promotional/Class 300-1 (3-5th Grade): 1st Bentlee Lester/Sentinel, 2nd Waverly Schneberger/BF-DC, 3rd Braxton Barnett/BF-DC, Ruth Moser/Cordell, Madilynn Davidson/Sentinel.

■ 4-H Theme/Class 300-2: 1st Maddux Funkhouser/Sentinel.

■ 4-H Promotional/Class 300-4 (6-8th Grade): 1st Evangelene Denny/BF-DC, 2nd Brance Barnett/BF-DC, 3rd Rowdy Waugh/Sentinel.

■ 4-H Promotional/Class 300-7 (9-12th Grade): 1st Brianna Cross/Sentinel, 2nd Kemper Woodis/Cordell.

■ Food Diversity/Class 308-17 (3-5th Grade): 1st Brooke Thomas/Canute.

■ Wildlife/Class 318-4 (3-7th Grade): 1st Brenley Musick/Sentinel, 2nd Sara Misener/Canute, 3rd Macie Hall/Canute.

■ Natural Resources of My County/Class 319-5 3-7th Grade): 1st Parker Bartlett/Canute.

■ Crops in Our Lives/Class 320-21 (3-5th Grade): 1st Paisley Visnieski/Canute, 2nd Noah Burris/Sentinel.

■ Crops in Our Lives/Class 320-22 (6-8th Grade): 1st Delainee Moore/Cordell, 2nd Alexander Misener/Canute.

■ Horticulture in Our Lives/Class 324-10 (3-5th Grade): 1st Mia Borrayo/Canute. Companion Animal/Class 325-1 3-7th Grade): 1st Paisley Visnieski/Canute, 2nd Cassie Ray/Cordell.

■ Cloverbud poster entries receiving a participant ribbon: Canute Cloverbuds: Cullen Galmore, Kahnan Kirk, Keltyn Kirk, Maria Misener, Paul Misener, Abagail Schneberger, Kenzie Talbert, Annie Schuster, Francis Harrison, D.J. ■ 4-H members actually learn science, technology, and math while utilizing their camera in capturing just the right image. Twenty-five entries were evaluated this year. Results are as follows:
