Gary Wayne Gorshing

Gary Wayne Gorshing, 76, of Weatherford, Oklahoma, passed away on February 21, 2021.

Gary was born March 9, 1944 to Roy and Esther (Dyck) Gorshing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Gary grew up in Bessie where he attended Peace Lutheran Church.

Following graduation from SWOSU, Gary worked for many news paper companies, OSU and SWODA. In the later 1970s, Gary became the executive director of SWODA until his retirement.

Survivors include daughter, Shara, and husband David Garmon of Cordell, OK; son, Chad, and wife Christian Gorshing of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Tyler Gorshing, of Weatherford, OK; and daughter, Millie, and wife Sarah Gorshing of Cache, OK; sister, Rudonna, and husband Larry Goeringer of Clinton, OK. Grandchildren Paige Gorshing of Oklahoma City; Kaylee, and husband Kade Wendt of Weatherford, OK; Alyssa Gorshing of Oklahoma City; and Kaytem Garmon of Cordell, OK.
