Alford ‘Al’ Steven White

Alford “Al” Steven White, age 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26th 2020 at AllianceHealth Woodward in Woodward, OK. He was born February 22, 1952 in Wadesboro, North Carolina to John and Eleanor White. He married Karen Ann (Burkeen) White on November 27, 1987 in Cordell, OK. Al spent a majority of his life here in Cordell working in two locations. He worked at Robertson’s Factory for 17 years and Cordell Christian Home for 15 years. Al worked a few other jobs where he encountered many people here in Cordell and befriended everyone that he met. He enjoyed watching football and grilling out for his family. Al loved being with his family especially his grandkids. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sarah Hennessy, and his father-in-law, Roy Burkeen.

He is survived by his spouse of 33 years, Karen; his beloved furry friend Rox; son Danny White of Cordell, OK; his daughter Cindy Lockwood and spouse Larry of Dill City, OK; his daughter Ashley Davis and spouse Bobby of Cordell, OK; his son Steven White and spouse Shawna of Cordell, OK; his daughter Lisa Beadles and spouse Caleb of Cordell, OK; his brother Robby White of Chesterfield, SC; an army of grandkids: Cade White, Nash White, McKinsey Gray, Aaron Lockwood, Gabby White, Tralynn White, Jaxon Davis, Bentley White, Rylee Davis, Audree Gray, Madilyn Beadles, Callen Beadles, and Ridley White; mother-in-law, Shirley Burkeen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. ~ 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020, Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma. Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 31, 2020, Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma. Interment: Lawnview Cemetery, Cordell, Oklahoma.
