Robert Wayne Jackson

Robert Wayne Jackson, 66, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on December 9th, 2020 at the Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, OK.

He was born on November 14th, 1954 to Ocie Alton and Maryetta (Mcelreath) Jackson in Hobart, OK. Robert grew up and attended school in Oklahoma City and attended high school at Capital Hill High School.

He met the love of his life Mari Morris and they were united in marriage on May 28, 1983 in Hominy, OK, to this union were born two children: Amie and Ryan. Robert worked for Gulfstream for twenty-three years as a Maintenance Mechanic, until retirement.

He enjoyed horseback riding, trail riding, quail hunting, pheasant hunting and spending time with family.

Robert loved his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife Mari of the home in Cordell, OK; Children: Amie Conway & husband Drew of Blanchard, OK, Ryan Jackson of Blanchard, OK; Grandchildren: Kade Aspell and Harper Conway; Sister: Tina Hawkins & husband Jerry of Cordell, OK; Sisters-in-law: Darlene Swain & husband John of Cleveland, OK, Mary Jackson of Helena, OK; Mother-in-law: Deonne Morris of Hominy, OK and numerous nieces, nephews and family friends.Preceded in death by his Parents: Ocie Alton and Maryetta (Mcelreath) Jackson, and 3 Siblings: Glenda Jackson, Glenn Ray Jackson and Billy Max Jackson and Sister-in-law: Carol New.

Visitation: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 11, 2020, Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma. Graveside: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, Oklahoma.
