Gay Tagliavore , AKA Glynda Gay, 85, of Denver, Colorado, passed away into the arms of Jesus on December 17, 2020 in Denver. She was laid to rest on Monday December 28th at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado

Gay was born in Oklahoma to Wanza Lee and Lorell Botchlett on September 3, 1935.

She attended high school in Cordell, Oklahoma graduating in 1953.

She then went on to earn a BA degree in Social Studies from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a Masters Degree in Mathematics from The University of Michigan.

Her teaching career began in Holly Colorado and continued in the Denver Public Schools, retiring in 1990.

She loved the mountains and hiking. Her travels with her husband took her from Europe to China with many visits to Italy where she now had many friends.

She was active in charities such as the Mother Cabrini Shrine Auxiliary, of which she was one of the last presidents. The Amici of the University of Denver and the Dante Alighieri Society of Denver.

Gay is survived by her husband Vincent. Her sister, Linda Kay Lenaburg of Stillwater, Oklahoma and by many wonderful nieces and nephews.
