The memorial service for Zane LeRoy Stubbs will be graveside at Poage Cemetery in Colony, Ok at 11am on Saturday December 5, 2020. Jim Constant will officiate. Zane was born March 7, 1961 in Enid, Oklahoma to Ruby and Johnnie Stubbs. Zane lost his battle with cancer on November 22,2020.

Zane began work in the oil field in 1977. Over a lifetime he worked at multiple companies in the oil and gas industry including Unit Drilling where he received many awards. He was a jack of all trades and loved working with his hands building things which led him to carpentry later in life. Zane often referred to his family as a tribe, he just kept adding to his “tribe” as the years went on. In February of 2002 he married Karen “Jeannie” King making her a “Stubbs” and completing his tribe. He loved being a grandparent. Zane was a family man.

Zane is survived by a son, Jonathan Stubbs of Weatherford,Ok, four daughters, Chloe Dalton of Cheyenne,Ok Lisa “Tanna” Gibson of Clinton,Ok Tegan Lambertus of Foss, Ok and Ashley King of Cordell,Ok three siblings brothers Micha and Van Stubbs of Drummond,Ok and sister Retha Kellam of Royce City, Tx. Zane also had 11 grandchildren.

His beloved wife Karen “Jeannie” Stubbs preceeded him in death in July along with his parents Ruby and Johnnie Stubbs and one brother Shon Stubbs.

Before passing Zane shared with the family He is at peace with the Lord. He loved his family motorcycle, boats, being one and spending time outdoors. Zane will be remembered as a devoted and loving father, husband, granddad, brother, and friend.
