The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has advised that east and westbound SH-55 will be closed between US-183 and Elm St. in Rocky in Washita County from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday September 9th for repairs to the railroad crossing by Grainbelt Railroad. Drivers will need to locate an alternate route or plan extra travel time. Traffic will be detoured on local streets during this closure by flaggers.
