For the first time since 1979, a new partner has been added to the Cordell law firm of Wesner, Wesner & Rainbolt PLLC.
Shane Regier of Cordell, Oklahoma will join the law firm effective October 1, 2020 and the new name of the law firm will be Wesner, Rainbolt and Regier PLLC.
The law firm will continue to do business at 121 E Main in Cordell where it has been located since 1978.
The son of Calvin and Delena Regier (CHS class of 1967) is a graduate of Mountain View public schools, South-western Oklahoma State University and Tulsa University law school where he graduated with honors and in the top 15 percent of his law school class.
He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2006.
In addition to being involved with farming and ranching, Regier has significant experience in banking, trusts, real estate title, wills, estates and probate law.
He most recently served as Vice President and Commercial Lender of Equity Bank in Cordell.
Regier is married to Robbi (Uhlenhake) Regier, a native of Kingfisher, Oklahoma who is a graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma State University and is employed as a teacher in the Cordell public schools. Shane and Robbi are the proud parents of three sons Bradley, Rienhart and Aiden, all of whom attend Cordell public schools.
Regier will be a partner of a law firm begun in Cordell in 1927 by Jess Wesner, who is now deceased. Jess’s son, Ron Wesner, joined the firm in 1958 and is also now deceased. Charles Rainbolt joined the firm in 1978 and Mark Wesner joined the firm in 1979.
