Bobby F. Hardwick passed from this life on November 8, 2017, in Oklahoma City at age 79. Bobby was born on June 6, 1938, in Berryville, Arkansas, to J.W. Hardwick and Omah (Eden) Hardwick. He spent his early school years at Rocky and was a graduate of Dill City High School in 1957. Bobby married Bonnie Faye Knisley on October 29, 1964, in Dill City. Bobby was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dill City. Bobby enjoyed working on the farm near Dill City raising cattle, wheat and cotton. Bobby also worked for over 25 years and retired from Cordell Schools as a bus driver and custodian. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, going to auctions, and going uptown to get the latest news in the coffee shop. Bobby is survived by his wife Bonnie of the home, one daughter Brenda Medlock and husband Jeff of Ponca City, Okla., two sons; Brad Hardwick and wife Larkann of Cordell, Okla., and Benjamin Hardwick and wife Dana of Edmond, Okla., one brother Nolan Hardwick of Irving, Texas, one sister Irene McClure and husband Bill of Enid, Okla. Bobby leaves a legacy of four grandchildren; Krischa Miller and husband Kurtis and Korinne Taylor and husband Jacob, Rebecca and Nathan Hardwick and one great-grandson Kysan Miller and numerous, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents J.W. and Omah, two sisters Eilene Wrinkle, (twin of Irene) and Ruby Whitener and one brother, Roy Hardwick (twin of Ruby). Services for Bobby were held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Dill City Baptist Church with Pastor Kris Ramber officiating and interment following at Lawnview Cemetery in Cordell. Viewing for Bobby was held Friday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., at the Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home located at 1400 West Main, Lone Wolf, 580-846-9018.
