Russ To Seek Reelection

Oklahoma Rep. Todd Russ has announced his intent to seek reelection to his House District 55 seat in November.

Russ was elected in 2009, and is current chairman of the House Transportation A & B Committee. He also serves on the House Appropriations and Budget and Common Education committees, as well as the Joint Committee on Appropriations and Budget.

Russ was named the 2019 Legislator of the Year by the Oklahoma Childcare Association and touted his 100 percent pro-life and Farm Bureau voting records. He is also the author of last session’s failed bill that sought to permanently revoke the teaching credentials of educators involved in any sort of work stoppage or school walkout.

House District 55 includes parts of Beckham, Greer, Kiowa, Roger Mills, and Washita counties.
