The Kiowa County and Tillman County conservation districts have announced that funds are available for cost-share assistance on selected consservation practices benefiting soil health and conservation. The State of Oklahoma has provided limited funds to our conservation district to help landowners implement measures that protect and promote soil health.
The conservation practice available for cost-share assistance is 550-Range Planting.
The cost-share percentage rate is 85 percentof actual or state average cost (whichever is less) with a maximum costshare payment of $5,000 per contract. The districts will be accepting applications starting Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, through Friday, Nov. 1, 2019.
