Daniel Dismukes, a 56-year-old man from Kingman, Ariz., was injured Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2019, following a traffic accident on US Highway 183 approximately two miles north of Cordell.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol report of the incident, Dismukes was driving southbound on 183 in a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix when he departed the roadway to the left side and struck a culvert in the median. He then reentered the roadway and brought his care to a rest on the outside shoulder.
Dismukes was transported by Cordell EMS to Cordell Memorial Hospital, where he was stabilized and transported to St. Anthony’s Bone & Joint, where he was listed in stable condition with trunk internal injuries.
