Due to a community effort, our Pre-K through 2nd grade students will each be receiving a book every month to add to their home libraries. What started out as an effort to find enough sponsors for Kindergarten quickly grew to include enough for all eleven Early Childhood classrooms, for a total of 209 students. We have 38 sponsors, which includes both individuals and businesses. While most of our sponsors are local, we had several reach out to donate from out of town. Our biggest supporter was Amanda Rivers, a class of 1998 Cordell High School graduate, now living in Maryland, who sponsored 44 students!
