On Saturday, September 6, firefighters Mason Helvey and Dalton Alexander of the Cordell Fire Department, along with Enedino Mendoza of the Burns Flat Fire Department, participated in the 14th Annual OKC 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Leadership Square and Oklahoma Tower in Oklahoma City.

The Cordell Lady Blue Devils traveled down to Cache on Thursday to play in the Wichita Mountain Classic. The tournament was played on Thursday and Saturday. On Thursday, the Lady Blue Devils won a tight contest with the Velma Alma Lady Comets. It came down to the wire, but we won 7-6.

New Business Ribbon Cutting

Western Charms Creations, located at 200 N. College, celebrated with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony last week. Owners are Trista Wehunt and Amy Thetford. They offer handmade custom t-shirts and sweatshirts along with jewelry and other boutique-style items.
