In response to the increasing spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Oklahoma, the state legislature on Monday, April 6, overwhelmingly approved a measure to grant extraordinary powers to the Gov. Kevin Stitt under the Catastrophic Health Emergency Act.

OKDOH COVID-19 Situation Update For April 7, 2020

SITUATION UPDATE: COVID-19 As of this advisory, there are 1,472 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma.  There are an additional 16 deaths: Six in Tulsa County: a male in the 18-35 age group, a female in 50-64 age group, and three females and a male older than 65.

Department Of Health COVID-19 Update

Cotton and Beckham County Health Departments confirm the first positive case in each of the counties. Cotton County’s positive case is a female in her 20s. The Beckham County case is a male in his 40s. Comanche County currently has twelve confirmed cases.
