Mayor Expands COVID-19 Emergency Restrictions

The City of Cordell stepped up its response to the COVID-19 pandemic last week, as Mayor Jerry Beech issued a new declaration of emergency and added new restrictions to the ordinance adopted by the city council last month.

SITUATION UPDATE: COVID-19 As of this advisory, there are 2,184 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma.  There are nine additional deaths: One in Tulsa County, a female in the 65 and older age group. One in Major County, a female in the 18-35 age group.

SITUATION UPDATE: COVID-19 As of this advisory, there are 1,794 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma.  There are an additional eight deaths: Two in Oklahoma County, a female in the 50-64 age group and a male over the age of 65. Two in Osage County, both males older than 65.
