OKDOH COVID-19 Situation Update For May 14, 2020

SITUATION UPDATE: COVID-19 - One case confirmed in Washita County. As of this advisory, there are 4,962 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma.  There are six additional deaths; three of them occurred in the past 24 hours and the others died between May 4-May 11.

USDA Offering Farm Loans For COVID-19 Challenges

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) reminds producers that FSA offers farm ownership and farm operating loans to agricultural producers who may not find success obtaining loans from their traditional financial institutions because of COVID-19.

Oklahoma Energy Index Posts Huge Decline

The Oklahoma Energy Index posted its single largest decline in March falling -9.2% as COVID-19 impacts weighed heavily on oil prices and the Oklahoma Energy Portfolio. The contraction exceeded the previous mark set in March 2015 of -7.3%.
