After 16 years of dedicated service, Bob Ogle has retired from the Cloud Chief Fire Department. Bob joined the department in 2008, the same year it was established, and has been an active and committed firefighter ever since.

The New Cordell Tag Agency has officially moved from its previous location around the Courthouse Square at 114 E Main St. to a new, more customer-focused facility at 1311 E Main St., just off Highway 152.

The Cordell High School gym was electric Friday night as the Blue Devils hosted the Hollis Tigers for the 2025 Blue Devil Basketball Homecoming, and the girls delivered a night to remember in a heart-pounding finish that had fans on their feet until the final buzzer.
