Burns Flat man pinned under car for 20 minutes after collision

A Burns Flat man was injured last week in a two-vehicle traffic collision south and east of Canute in Washita County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Matthew Hoffman identified the injured man as Jy Brown, 43.

Camri Tabor was born in March 2008 in Elk City. She is the daughter of Jessica Kamphaus. She has two older sisters, Karissa and Araiya, and one younger brother, Tycen. Camri is currently a seventh grader at Canute Public School. She enjoys basketball and softball, and hanging out with friends.

A pair of water-related issues forced the Cordell Utility Authority Board of Trustees to spend up to $33,000 for repairs during a special meeting last week. A leak in the East Hill Water tower and the ability to turn off the west water line are issues that have plagued the city recently.
