Washita County 4-H Share the Fun Full County Results

Washita County 4-H Share-the-Fun Talent Show was held Monday, February 2nd at the Burns Flat-Dill City (BF/DC) High School. The BF/DC Senior 4-H Club hosted the event with Kathryn Sirmon emceeing, Abby Sirmon and Paige Brittain presented ribbons and Larissa Mason working behind the scenes.

Cordell Schools’ bond proposition passed by voters

Voters in the Cordell School District voted 190 to 76 last Tuesday in favor of a proposed two-year bond that will fund needed upgrades and renovations at the campus. There is no projected tax increase associated with the bond.

New and improved schedule announced for Washita Theater

The Washita Theater in Cordell has announced a change to its Saturday movie schedule, effective immediately.Previously, Saturday movie showings featured doors opening at 6 p.m. with the movie beginning at 7 p.m. Going forward, on most Saturdays, doors will now open earlier at 4 p.m.
