Glenna Rose was hostess for Willing Workers HCE club on Aug. 1, 2019. Lois Johnson, president, called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.
Becky Haggard led the group in the salute to the flag. Glenna led in singing God Bless America. Becky then read an item from God Bless My Senior Moments.
Lois read a thought for the day - be true to your teeth as your teeth will be false to you. Members answered roll call by telling one thing they plan to enter in the county fair.
The minutes from the previous meeting and the treasurer’s report were read by Oma June Pitzer. The program for the day was planning the fair exhibit.
For cultural art, Glenna’s house had many things to choose from. The item she chose was a coffee grinder that had belonged to her aunt.
Pennies and nickles were collected. Lois won the hostess gift. The next meeting will be on Sept. 5, with Becky as hostess.
