On July 4, 2019, the Willing Workers met at the home of Oma June Pitzer. Lois Johnson, president, called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. Becky Haggard led the salute to the flag. Glenna Rose led in singing “You’re A Grand Old Flag.”

The thought for the day was given by Lois - each happening of yesterday is a memory for tomorrow. Roll call was answered by members telling one item they are working on to enter in the Washita County Free Fair.

Oma June read the minutes from the June meeting and gave the treasurer’s report. The program for the day was fair judging standards. Lois and Oma June had attended the leaders’ meeting.

For cultural art a picture was shown of the group in 1979 when it was knonw as Homemakers’ Club. It later became Willing Workers.

Pennies and nickles were collected. Becky won the hostess gift. The meeting was adjourned.
