Chase Ty Madden and Macey Payne Rivers have been taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal’s Service in Comanche County in the Wichita Mountains area and have since been transferred to the Washita County Jail.

Madden and Rivers have been wanted fugitives in Washita County since 2015 with warrants in the amounts of $400,000 and $200,000 respectively. They were both wanted on nine criminal counts including 1st Degree Burglary, Conjoint Robbery, 2nd Degree Burglary, Grand Larceny of a House, 2nd Degree Burglary, Felony Assault and Battery on a Peace Officer, Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.

After several years of no new information about Madden and Rivers’ whereabouts, the Washita County Sheriff’s Office requested the United States Marshal’s Service to locate and apprehend them. The USMS located both of the fugitives in short order and after a standoff that lasted several hours, successfully apprehended them both with the assistance of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
